Chest Surgery (Full account):

In September 2000 I had my chest surgery. I was a DD, so not a small chest to say the least. I was in over night and the morning after I had my drains taken out, which I found were really painful. I was felt feeling sick, which put me right off my breakfast that I had just started eating. I wasnt in that much pain. I did find the car journey home really painful, but once I was home I rested up. Come the day of having my bandages taken off, I headed back down to London. Laying on the table with my shirt open the nurse took off the bandage and was giving it a clean. It was then that it hit me - I finally had a chest that I was happy to look at , (if still a little puffy).

Chest Surgery:

I had been looking forward to getting chest surgery since before I’d even realised that hormones were available. It was the one thing that I knew I needed and wanted, from a really early age. After fighting for too long on the NHS, I decided to go privately and went to see Dai Davies in London. At the time, he was the most experienced surgeon around and I had heard good things about him.
